To design, code, test, and document enhancements to the AS400 ERP system, directly contributing to the operational efficiency of the ECMDI team and delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role offers hands-on programming experience, collaboration with seasoned RPG developers, and exposure to full-cycle development practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain RPG, RPGLE, and CL programs on the IBM iSeries platform Collaborate with other RPG programmers to establish timelines and deliverables Conduct unit testing and assist in debugging applications with end users Document code, database changes, and system environment updates in compliance with SOX standards Maintain and update application design specifications Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements Anticipate future development needs and contribute to modernization efforts Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and independent problem-solving Participate in team meetings and cross-functional discussions Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications

Some knowledge of IBM i architecture and development environment Working knowledge of job queues, subsystems, and user profile management Exposure to RPG, RPGLE, and CL programming Basic understanding of SQL and ability to write simple queries Familiarity with ERP systems and their operational workflows Experience creating or modifying functions and procedures within IBM i Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow within a structured development team Preferred Traits
