Job Position: Full Time Maintenance Technician and Full Tim Grounds Keeper

Location: Conestoga Valley School District

Pay Rate: $20.06/Hour

Shift: Full Time 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Job Openings: Maintenance Technician & Groundskeeper

We are hiring for

two separate positions

on our facilities team:

Maintenance Technician

- responsible for building and equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and custodial support. Groundskeeper

- responsible for maintaining the outdoor spaces, landscaping, and grounds safety year-round.

Both positions require reliability, a

valid driver's license , and the ability to work safely in varying conditions.

Position 1: Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Complete assigned work orders and prioritize maintenance tasks. Repair and maintain heating systems, including boilers, thermostats, filters, and controls. Maintain and repair buildings, furniture, doors, blinds, plumbing, electrical systems, and playground equipment. Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address safety or repair needs. Perform carpentry, painting, masonry, and welding work as needed. Replace locks and keys, maintaining accurate records. Maintain an organized inventory of tools and supplies. Assist with building security, parking lot traffic, and snow/ice removal. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues. Qualifications:

Experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related fields preferred. Valid Driver's License REQUIRED. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift, move, and operate maintenance equipment. Willingness to work indoors and outdoors as needed. Position 2: Groundskeeper

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain grounds, including mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, and leaf removal. Perform landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, and watering. Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, tractors, snow blowers). Keep sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots clean, safe, and free of hazards. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal, salting, and storm cleanup. Support setup/teardown of outdoor events. Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to ensure safety and appearance. Qualifications:

Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance preferred. Valid Driver's License REQUIRED. Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented. Why Join Our Team?
