In addition, the Social Worker collaborates with the patient/family/team to effect safe and timely discharge/treatment plans. The Social Worker complies with the Mission Statements of Montefiore and Social Services, and the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Social Work.**Education and Requirements:**Master’s in social work from a school of Social Work from a program registered by the NYS Dept. of Education or determined to be substantially equivalent by the commissioner's regulation.Must have a NYS LMSW or LCSW license and registration.If employee has a limited permit, they must have an executed Memorandum of understanding with a licensed Social Worker for the purposes of supervision and must obtain LMSW within 6 months of employment.Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
