Overview

The Director, HRBP partners with global commercial C-level leaders and their teams to develop and implement people and culture strategies to drive business results as a trusted advisor, change agent, and consultant on talent topics. This role requires strong coaching, change management, and the ability to plan and execute on people-related activities (e.g., organizational design, performance management cycles, employee engagement surveys). This role suits someone with extensive strategic and HR functional knowledge who thrives in managing multiple people initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of the business to guide and influence leaders on their talent agenda. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution. Guide the business through talent processes, including performance management cycles, compensation processes, internal mobility, unit restructurings, workforce and succession planning, and manager training. Partner with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards on opening and closing roles aligned with CareDx's job architecture and org design. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, performance improvement plans). Support onboarding of new leaders, including facilitation of new leader assimilation. Manage and resolve ER issues in partnership with HR Ops and Legal, including investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and HR policies and practices. Develop and execute talent development programs (e.g., manager training, mentoring) in partnership with HRBP Team, HR Ops and cross-functional stakeholders. Mentor other HR professionals to foster collaboration and innovation in delivering for the business. Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Finance partners to assess processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, transformation, and automation. Demonstrate ownership and commitment to achieving results when engaging with colleagues and stakeholders. Promote a Growth mindset and strategic agility, driving innovation and learning quickly, with a focus on near- and long-term possibilities. Create, manage, or participate in cross-organizational projects and initiatives. Role model company values in support of the organizational culture. Minimum Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required

BA/BS degree 10+ years in progressive senior HR roles, with at least 5 years in HRBP function Experience partnering with VP and C-Suite executives; comfortable moving between tactical and strategic priorities Experience in medical device, life science, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and gene or cell therapy preferred Experience partnering with Sales Ops/Compensation on incentive plans and sales benefits policies preferred Strategic mindset with strong project management and delivery focus Experience leading end-to-end change initiatives Self-motivated, assertive, and autonomous problem-solver Ability to influence without direct authority Proven track record in creating and implementing talent development strategies Strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) with advanced Excel and presentation capabilities Strong business acumen and ability to see the big picture Resilience and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Ability to travel as required Remote

US only roles Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary range in the United States is $180,000 to $230,000. Final salary is dependent on factors including experience, education, and location. Base pay may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and the salary range may not reflect positions in other states.
