Position involves providing direct patient care on a patient-centered unit under RN supervision, with flexible hours and 12-hour shifts. Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and at least one year of clinical experience in an acute care setting; current CNA certification can substitute experience. Preferred experience includes EMT for Emergency Services, OB or Couplet Care for Women’s Services, or behavioral health experience for Behavioral Services. Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred. Must hold current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Skills include equipment operation, effective communication, multitasking, and competency maintenance. Responsibilities may include cardiac prep, monitoring device management, patient mobility, and following clinical pathways, depending on the department. For Emergency Services, perform 12-lead ECGs; for Behavioral Health, ensure safety protocols are maintained. Work type is full-time, with night shifts and overtime opportunities.
