Job Description:
Title : Warehouse Associate Location: Groveland FL Duration: 0 - 3 Months Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Handle all incoming shipments. Perform verification of purchased products and enter order receipts into WESCO's computer system. Perform quality assurance inspections when appropriate. Place received material into proper warehouse storage locations after segregating backorders. Relocate and consolidate material when appropriate, notifying management of new bin/table locations. Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment (including assemble & hold orders). Prepare bills of lading and express receipts. Assist in loading trucks. Prepare local delivery records and complete applicable blocks on the pick ticket. Maintain appropriate forms pending return of material. Inspect condition of returned material prior to completing return authorization forms. Pull stock and return it to the correct location pending credit memo, sale, or return to supplier. Clean warehouse and trucking/parking area. Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as needed. Administer preventative maintenance programs to delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment. Record and process customer complaints regarding products or services. Maintain counter stock as needed. Assist with over-the-counter sales when required.
Qualifications / Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Basic computer skills. Forkfit Certification Stand Up reach truck
Experience/Other Requirements: Ability to perform physically strenuous work, including lifting packages up to 50 pounds. Ability to use hand tools. Willingness to work in a warehouse environment (exposure to weather, noise, and safety regulations). Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
