Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable, self-motivated Skilled Laborers to join our construction and remodeling team. This hands-on role is ideal for experienced professionals in carpentry, drywall, finishing, and painting. Candidates must have their own tools and be capable of delivering high-quality work across a variety of residential or commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of skilled construction tasks including framing, drywall installation and finishing, painting, and trim work. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and install building materials with accuracy. Hang drywall, tape seams, apply mud, and sand surfaces for smooth finishes. Prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces with attention to detail and proper surface prep. Install doors, windows, cabinetry, and other finish components as needed. Maintain a clean, organized job site and follow safety protocols. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Transport and maintain personal tools and equipment in good working condition. Requirements:
Proven experience in one or more of the following trades: carpentry, drywall, finishing, painting. Must own and maintain a reliable set of tools required for your trade(s). Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction practices. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Solid problem-solving and time management skills. Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work on feet for extended periods. Reliable transportation to and from job sites. Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant trade experience. OSHA 10 or 30 certification. Basic knowledge of other trades (plumbing, electrical, etc.) is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
