OTE of $120-150k (includes a $40k base salary & supplemental commission as you ramp up) About the Company Our client is a global flooring manufacturer delivering high-quality, sustainable building materials for commercial and institutional spaces. With a focus on innovation, design, and environmental responsibility, they partner with architects, contractors, and end-users to create solutions that meet both functional and aesthetic needs. Primary Objective The Territory Account Executive will leverage industry knowledge and strong relationship-building skills to drive specifications and applications of products within their assigned territory. This role is key to generating sustained sales growth across the region. Responsibilities Business Development Identify target accounts and engage early to position solutions that align with client and regional needs Develop new business in core market segments by building relationships with end users, general contractors, architects, and interior designers Maintain and grow existing contractor accounts while supporting successful installations with local teams Utilize the company’s CRM as the primary tool for communication, tracking, and pipeline management Understand client priorities and provide tailored solutions to exceed expectations Analyze competitive activity and market dynamics to achieve successful outcomes in the territory Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related discipline OR 5+ years of business development experience in the construction industry (preferred) Experience managing large-scale projects with longer sales cycles in both public and private sectors Strong presentation, consultative selling, and active listening skills Excellent oral and written communication abilities Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, plus occasional North America travel for meetings/trainings Comfortable selling technical aspects of products and solutions Must be able to carry/wheel samples and materials for client meetings (requires routine lifting and bending) and occasionally inspect surfaces (may require crawling on a flooring surface) Professional presence with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels in fast-paced environments Proven ability to build lasting customer relationships that lead to sales and growth in the territory Collaborative team player with entrepreneurial spirit and results-driven mindset Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking individuals who are: Passionate about sustainability and building solutions Curious and eager to learn, grow, and innovate Driven to be the best in their field Relationship-focused, thriving on trust and long-term partnerships Ambassadors who embody a daring, caring, and inspiring approach to clients and colleagues alike
