Senior Hunger Site Partner - Seal High Rise

Second Harvest Heartland is looking for a volunteer to support our Senior Hunger Program, which provides a monthly box of nutritious food to low-income seniors aged 60 and over. In this role, you’ll help set up the distribution area, assist participants through the sign-in and food pick-up process, verify income eligibility, and ensure all site paperwork is submitted. You’ll also lift and load boxes of groceries weighing 35+ pounds, all while creating a welcoming and respectful environment for our senior participants. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to make a direct impact in ending hunger.
