Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and technically minded
Electrical Technician
to support the electrical assembly, wiring, and integration of our custom fire trucks. This hands-on role focuses entirely on technical work and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. If you have strong 12V and AC wiring knowledge, can read and interpret electrical diagrams, and are eager to work with cutting-edge multiplex programming, we’d like to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complete 12V and DC/AC wire routing for all truck electrical systems
Install lighting, switches, accessories, diodes, relays, breakers, and solenoids
Integrate generators, light towers, and AC accessories
Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and chassis wiring systems
Wire and troubleshoot battery systems, ensuring correct power and grounding
Perform multiplex programming of chassis and apparatus systems
Operate forklifts, cranes, and shop equipment safely
Assist with plumbing or fabrication work as needed
Follow OSHA and company safety practices; document non-conformances and support continuous improvement
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or degree in electrical systems
Vocational training or experience in automotive, heavy-equipment, or industrial electrical systems
Strong knowledge of 12V and AC wiring
ES-Key, Power Vision, and IC Systems experience strongly
Ability to read diagrams, manuals, drawings, and safety procedures
Skilled with hand/power tools; basic computer and programming knowledge
Effective communicator able to work independently or collaboratively
Pre-Employment Requirements
