URGENT: Volunteer delivery drivers needed to distribute meals to seniors in our community.
Delivery routes 2 hours in the morning/afternoon. Lunches come from J-Sei in Emeryville and are distributed in Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, and Concord using contact-free delivery procedures. If you are available a few hours a day, week or month we want to hear from you! ABOUT US Would you like to deliver nourishing lunches to people who can't shop or cook for themselves anymore? Maybe you are a sociable person who would enjoy visiting or calling a senior weekly. J-Sei is a longstanding nonprofit that offers many rewarding volunteer opportunities. You can be involved periodically or on a consistent ongoing basis. You can bring a smile to seniors by preparing hot lunches, delivering meals to seniors, providing weekly visits to at a senior's home or calling a senior. You will help an older adult stay healthier and happier! With our partnership with the Japanese Christian Church of Walnut Creek, we are able to expand our delivery services to Central Contra Costa once a week on Thursdays. Our volunteers and staff are fun and upbeat - we welcome you to join us! 1 shift available: 11:00 to 13:00 PST
