Job Summary: The Vocational Nursing Clinical Director is responsible for coordinating the clinical education and instruction for the Vocational Nursing program at our El Paso campus. This full-time role oversees clinical site partnerships, schedules rotations, maintains skills lab equipment, and mentors clinical faculty. The Clinical Director will also participate directly in classroom, skills lab, and clinical instruction, ensuring a high-quality, seamless learning experience for students in compliance with the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical & Site Management: Develop, promote, and evaluate clinical sites to ensure quality student experiences. Secure and maintain clinical site contracts and affiliations in accordance with Texas BON rules. Schedule all clinical rotations and skills lab hours for students and faculty. Provide for the supervision of students in all clinical experiences. Faculty & Instruction:

Orient, mentor, schedule, and evaluate clinical faculty and ANIPs. Teach in the classroom, skills lab, and clinical settings as needed. Monitor and evaluate the instruction provided by clinical faculty. Curriculum & Student Support:

Coordinate the transfer of learning objectives from the classroom to clinical practice. Participate in curriculum review and development in conjunction with the Program Director. Provide academic and personal counseling to students. Maintain student records related to clinical education. Lab & Operations:

Manage the upkeep, inventory, and currency of the Skills Laboratory. Recommend new equipment and educational software. Utilize campus reporting systems to support institutional governance. Minimum Qualifications (Per Texas BON Regulations):

Hold an unencumbered current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas. Graduation from an accredited nursing program. At least three (3) years of varied nursing experience since graduation. Must have been actively employed in nursing for the past three (3) years or have advanced preparation in nursing, nursing education, and/or nursing administration. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher. Three (3) years of occupational experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care. One (1) year of teaching experience in a nursing program. Comprehensive Benefits Package:
