BASIC PURPOSE

:

Clean and maintain all corridors and public areas in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards and security rules and regulations. As well as guest and employee safety.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

: Pick up keys, radio and Alice device from Security; ensure radio channel is on number 4 and radio works. Log in to Alice device Constantly check for any request on Alice and/or the radio and complete as requested. Receive assigned section, supplies and any priority request from the Office Coordinator. Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift; remove newspapers and service trays, empty ash urns remove trash and /or linens and note areas that need immediate attention. Disinfect and/or strip checked out guest rooms when needed. Delivery any requests for guests, supervisors, room attendants and turn down attendants. Aid sections housekeepers as needed (i.e. bed boards, roll-way, baby cribs, microwaves, refrigerators, etc.) Clean all public areas to the standard while following safety and security procedures and regulations to include but not limited to: hallways, elevators, service areas, emergency stairwells, etc. Remove soiled linen, terry and trash from the service areas and take to the appropriate locations in the prescribed manner. Walk the floors and remove linen and trash from turn down attendant's carts periodically. Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Spin pad / carpet spotting where needed/instructed. Remove dirty towels and garbage from the pool area at the end of the day. Refill linen as needed. Move linen carts to necessary locations based on MLS deliveries and pick-ups.
