HRBP Intern, Interstate Electronics Corporation

L3Harris is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team at Interstate Electronics Corporation in Yorba Linda, CA. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain practical and strategic experience in various HR functions and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects. The successful candidate will partner closely with leadership and employees to execute HR strategies that enable the accomplishment of business objectives while leveraging their strong interpersonal skills to communicate with groups inside and outside of the HR function, partnering on key initiatives, and shaping our culture, talent practices, and HR procedures. Essential Functions: Serve as the HRBP to support all Interstate Electronics Corporation intern as a client group Have a strong understanding and knowledge of business analytics and data analysis tools Assist with employee inquiries, employee engagement activities, and policy implementation Partner with the local HR Leadership team to execute on talent review tasks, required training, and strategic goal alignment action plan Identify and diagnose issues proactively and develop, recommend and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience and business results in a timely manner Participate and/or lead projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assigned Prepare and review reports, presentations, and other HR-relevant documents Assist in the new hire onboarding and orientation process and projects as needed Promote high professional standards, positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrates L3Harris core values Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent area. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems is a plus. Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude. Some knowledge of Performance Management, Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation, Diversity, and Organizational/Management Development Ability to link situations to the bigger picture; ability to identify root cause and underlying issues Demonstrated attention to detail Ability to work as a solid contributing member of a team as well as operate independently
