Social Media Manager Internship Opportunity

About the Internship
We are seeking
three Social Media Manager Interns
to join our team. Two positions will begin in
January 2025 , and one position will start in
February 2025 . While this internship is unpaid, stipends will be provided to support your commitment and contributions. Location:
Remote (occasional in-person meetings may be required if local). Hours:
Flexible; approximately 10-15 hours per week. Duration:
3-6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement. Role Description
As a Social Media Manager Intern, you will: Develop and implement creative social media strategies to raise awareness about our mission, programs, and events.
Manage and grow our presence on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts, aligned with our brand voice and messaging.
Monitor and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform strategy.
Collaborate with the team to coordinate digital campaigns and storytelling initiatives.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and our organization’s trademark and confidentiality policies.
Ideal Candidate
Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Communications, Marketing, Public Health, Social Justice, or a similar field. (Academic credit or curricular requirement documentation may be required.)
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation tools.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Passion for health equity and social justice.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
