Overview
The
Night Auditor
is responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork, and producing shift reports. The Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as check-in/check-out, making reservations, and answering guest questions. Responsibilities Audit responsibilities balancing duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports. Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests; process guest registrations, including collecting payment. Prepare express checkout folios; maintain room status inventory. Check the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc. Maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom as needed. Communicate all pertinent shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff; ensure a smooth transition between shifts. Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Explain in-room and hotel features. Complete all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily; perform other duties as assigned by management.
