Security Operations Specialist

The Security Operations Center Operator provides exemplary customer service and support to employees, vendors, and customers while monitoring and responding to activities that impact the security and welfare of Hiltis assets, including employees. This position serves as the primary contact in crisis situations and the liaison for communications inside and outside of Hilti, providing management with information and protection required to maintain a safe environment. Accountable and responsible for the protection of Hilti assets (including building, equipment, inventory and property) and the safety of Hilti employees, 24/7, 365 days a year (including all remote locations). Knowledge of video monitoring systems (multiple platforms) and ability to monitor multiple cameras, test equipment, review footage, and provide footage to authorized individuals as requested. Knowledge of Remote Programming Software (RPS) to make program changes remotely, arm accounts remotely, delete pass codes, and change pass codes. Contact stores periodically to assist in alarm user and safety education for the safety and security of Hilti personnel and assets. Provide support to installers and technicians, generate work orders, and track through completion to verify correct operations in store alarm and video monitoring system installs and repairs. Respond to alarms or service requests in a timely manner; dispatch and coordinate law enforcement response as needed. Monitor Tulsa Operations Center for burglaries, fires and severe weather; inspect and test alarm systems, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and IT environment controls. Assist in personnel issues, handle multiple priorities in emergency situations; direct emergency personnel to incident locations as needed. Investigate and report irregular activity; know and follow emergency procedures. Perform key access control functions, update employee access levels, configure access, and resolve access-related issues. Maintain secure perimeter by screening ingress/egress of personnel and directing walk-in traffic. High school diploma or GED (required) CLEET certification or obtain within 1 year of employment; to be maintained (required) First Aid/CPR and AED certification; to be maintained (required) Must pass or have passed the National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course or equivalent Minimum two (2) years CLEET experience in a related job (preferred) Minimum two (2) years experience as a security operations center operator, emergency dispatcher or alarm monitor technician (preferred) Prior certified law enforcement or military experience (preferred) Advanced computer skills (Windows, Office, DVR, Teams, databases) (required) Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills (required) Ability to multi-task under emergency conditions with composure Ability to assist with personnel issues in a non-threatening manner Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Willingness to follow emergency procedures and adapt to unfamiliar situations Team-oriented and service-focused Working conditions
