Korzen Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to lead an outpatient Wound Care Clinic located in the Glen Falls market area, in collaboration with Healogics and Glens Falls Hospital.

For over 25 years, Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospital-based wound care centers across the country. Currently, Healogics treats over 300,000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. Healogics is the worlds leading expert in wound healing.

This position is based in our outpatient wound care clinic and is exclusively dedicated to procedural wound care. Our center operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights, on-call duties, or weekend work. All patients are seen by appointment only.

This is a procedure-oriented environment primarily serving mostly geriatric patients. The successful candidate must possess at least 1 year of procedural background. Experience with minor procedures such as suturing, debridement, and/or incision and drainage (I&D) is required (procedural case logs will be requested as part of the credentialing process). Other types of non-dermatological procedural experience may also be acceptable on a case-by-case basis.

Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training provided prior to your start date.

Scope of Practice Highlights

Full Team support includes Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support. We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including: Cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing. Teams will average approximately 20-30 patient encounters per day, with a majority receiving wound care and less than 5% receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, or weekend hours. NP experience in a procedural environment (i.e. urgent care, wound care, specialist medical office). Clean and Active State license. Must be a Certified Nurse Practitioner DEA License Minimum of 1 year of NP experience is a must Must have procedural experience - simple sutures, I&D's... Benefits/Compensation

Compensation consists of a base salary and a quarterly bonuses - RVU & Quality Full Healthcare Benefits, 401K and retirement plan PTO days which include all major holidays.
