We are looking for a Senior Demand Planning Manager. The Senior Demand Planning Manager plays a critical role in leading demand forecasting and supply planning for designated business units. This hands-on position involves close collaboration with teams across manufacturing, procurement, inventory, sales, finance, and marketing to drive operational efficiency and achieve performance targets such as fill rate, forecast accuracy, productivity, and inventory turns.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and monitor performance indicators to assess forecast accuracy, inventory health, and service levels. Identify and communicate supply constraints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint, leveraging diverse data sources to guide decision-making. Manage end-to-end supply planning operations, aligning demand forecasts with production schedules and developing detailed SKU-level plans that support business objectives. Use statistical forecasting tools to build both item-level and financial forecasts, integrating POS data and cross-functional inputs from sales, marketing, and customers. Mentor and guide the planning team, encouraging collaboration and a high-performance culture. Lead and contribute to internal meetings, ensuring structured agendas, productive discussions, and actionable follow-ups. Support the S&OP process by generating reliable forecasts and supply plans that help achieve optimal inventory levels, service performance, and production efficiency. Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize supply chain performance, reduce lead times, and improve customer satisfaction. Develop and implement demand planning and replenishment strategies that meet customer expectations while minimizing inventory costs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field. Over 10 years of experience in inventory planning and replenishment, preferably within the CPG industry and companies with $100M+ in revenue. Proven leadership skills with at least two years managing direct reports. Strong understanding of ERP and MRP systems and business operations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with all MS Office applications. Expertise in data analysis and forecasting, including use of statistical tools and software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
