Insight Global is currently seeking a Senior FEA/CFD Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join in supporting concept development of next generation weapons to defend and protect the U.S. In this role, you will be responsible for creating models and running simulations using Non-linear language in LS Dyna with the backing of high performance computational systems. These allow you to generate MESH models in an effort to determine the structural integrity of various materials associated with new concepts. These models will be designed to test how parts interact at high impact speeds, beyond their yield limits. All of this is in an effort to maintain structural integrity to minimize error and maximize the limits of all new concepts being developed. Due to a collaborative team environment and the amount of cross functional aspects to these responsibilities, it is highly preferred you are located in/around Shalimar, FL or Albuquerque, NM.
