Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer will assist in developing the cable schedule and supporting documentation for site power distribution, leveraging system and interface requirements to produce engineering documentation, drawings, analyses, and reports. This role involves close collaboration with design teams to verify power distribution needs and ensure accurate cable routing and interface alignment. The engineer will support procurement activities by coordinating with vendors to ensure components and systems meet our customers specifications, and will lead the creation of output documentation such as electrical schematics. Additionally, the position requires coordination with other disciplines including mechanical, system, nuclear, and system design engineers to ensure seamless integration across engineering functions. Salary depends on experience but ranges from $150,000 to $200,000.

Required Skills & Experience

A bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or similar discipline) is required. A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in engineering is required. Must have knowledge of power distribution systems. Must be knowledgeable in NEC and cable routing design work. Must have experience in specifying motors, transformers, inductors, or other magnetic devices. Must have demonstrable ability to recognize and solve problems and recommend solutions to technical problems. Must be self-directed with minimal day-to-day supervision needed and capable of effectively working both as part of a team and independently. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance
