Hospice Plus
We're looking for US Military Veterans (or actively serving military) volunteers ages 18 and up, to help provide support to Veterans with life limiting conditions and their caregivers. Veteran-to-Veteran Support Volunteers provide a bond to other Veterans like no one else can. America's Veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission. It is our mission to serve those that have served us. We believe that it is never too late to give them a hero's welcome home!
How you serve and how often is completely up to you.
Here are a few examples of how our Veteran-to-Veteran Support Volunteers serve: Provide companionship and emotional support to fellow Veterans and their caregivers. Provide respite (Sitting with the Veteran patient while the caregiver run errands. Participate in our Veteran recognition and pinning ceremonies. Talk to or just listen to Veteran patients reminisce about their life. You choose how you want to serve and how often.
