CommQuest is currently seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time
Clinical Supervisor of Residential Services
in Stark County . The Clinical Supervisor plays a key leadership role in substance use and behavioral health treatment programs. They oversee clinical staff and ensure residents receive high-quality, evidence-based care in a structured 24/7 residential environment.

CommQuest Services is one of the largest non-profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in-patient, outpatient and school-based programs, along with supportive services - from basic needs to employment assistance.

What you'll do:
Supervise and support counselors, case managers, and peer recovery staff
Review and approve clinical documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes)
Ensure services follow state regulations, licensing standards, and organizational policies
Conduct performance evaluations and coaching
Help train staff on clinical practices, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention
Ensure staff maintain appropriate licensure and continuing education
Coordinate day-to-day clinical operations in the residential facility
Help design and implement programming (e.g., group therapy, relapse prevention, life skills)
Oversee intake/admissions, clinical assessments, and discharge planning
Ensure client charts and documentation are timely and compliant with Medicaid, CARF, or state audit requirements
Participate in program evaluation, audits, and outcome tracking
Implement improvements based on client feedback or incident reviews.
This role will require some travel between site locations in Stark County.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology
Ohio licensure
(e.g.,
LPCC-S ,
LISW-S ,
LICDC-CS ) with supervisor credential
Minimum 2-4 years' experience in recovery services including a minimum of 2-years' supervisory experience required.
Maintains Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and CPR/First Aid training, obtained within first 90 days of employment.
Maintain all other certifications and/or licensures are required for position and/or compliance.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Availability for rotating on-call shifts, some evenings and weekends may be required.

50% discount .
Flexible work scheduling with
supervisor approval
to make up time during workshop weeks.

Salary listed is base pay. Quarterly bonuses for licensed positions!
Remote/Hybrid options available for counselor roles; based upon facility/department needs, employment experience, and 90-days employment completion.
