Our client in Sussex, WI is looking for a Control Panel Design Engineer.
Required:
3+ years’ experience working with AutoCAD Electrical BSEE Working knowledge of NEC code The ability to work closely with fellow employees and manufacturing personnel to insure a smooth workflow is necessary Ability to interpret schematics, wiring prints, point lists, and other documentation Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Design control and automation system panels and other associated mechanical designs in AutoCAD Electrical with input from the engineering team. Develops bill of materials, schematic diagrams, cable connection drawings, and assembly instructions for electrical control panels. Understands relevant international electrical and safety agency codes (UL, CSA, NEC, IEC, CE, ISO) and is able to develop drawing packages that are compliant with these codes. Revises drawings and designs based on engineering change orders and internal/external customer requests. Able to perform calculations to translate design requirements into scalable, specific configurations for drawing implementation. Works with electrical engineers to incorporate electrical design concepts. Reports project progress and status to the Engineering Manager
