The recruiter represents SNU to its constituents (i.e., students, parents, guidance counselors, youth workers, pastors, schools, churches, etc.). Through personal on and off-campus contacts, the representative will generate leads, follow up on leads, present current information, and establish a solid rapport with prospective students. Role includes some travel (limited overnight stays). Performance is based on the completion of assignments and results obtained. Responsibilities
Articulate the SNU admission process to prospective students and parents, including financial aid opportunities, academic programs, and campus activities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of campus activities, academic programs, and participate in campus events when possible Ability and willingness to travel within the South-Central region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana) Help to enroll a high-quality student body Connect with influencers internally and externally Submit reports to the Vice President for Enrollment & Marketing as needed Qualifications
Required Qualifications Southern Nazarene University is an expression of the Church of the Nazarene. College undergraduate degree Possess strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in higher education Fluent in Spanish Supervision
Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction. May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees. Apply
