HEART
of Hospice. We are seeking Volunteers in the Fernley and Fallon areas to: Provide patient companionship and emotional support Assist our patients and caregivers by offering respite relief or doing small chores Offer Reiki or another healing modality you have been credentialed in Offer 11th hour vigil support for patients who are in transition Veteran-to-Veteran visits and military appreciation ceremonies Whether you are searching for a way to serve others in your community, or you are interested in practical experience that will help you start a new career in a health-related field, we would love to hear from you.
Infinity Hospice Care provides robust volunteer training free of charge at our Reno office to prepare you for working with patients at the end of life. Hospice volunteering is a rewarding opportunity that can make a difference in someone's life. We do not have a required minimum number of hours per week, but we do request a 1-year commitment. We also require new candidates to pass a background check, as well as drug and TB tests conducted in Reno. Make a difference in your OWN life as well as the people we are privileged to serve!
