Job Description
The Cyber Security Operations Specialist III is a Cross Domain Engineer responsible for designing cross domain solutions, evaluating new technologies, and executing functional testing. They will lead security design, analyze data flows, prepare design packages, and coordinate implementation strategies. Responsibilities Lead the security design and engineering of cross domain solutions. Analyze data flow alternatives and evaluate solution constraints. Prepare design documentation and update based on deployment lessons learned. Create technical point papers on Cross Domain Solutions. Gather requirements and participate in technical meetings. Coordinate implementation with technical teams and support government planning. Provide guidance and training to other engineers.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, capable of developing analytical documents and presenting to management. Ability to work independently. Interpersonal skills for negotiation and collaboration. Certifications: DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II, Security+ minimum. Education: Bachelors in a technical field or equivalent experience. Experience: At least 6 years in cyber engineering, with experience in application, system, and network security, and Cross Domain Solutions.
Preferred Certifications and Experience
CEH, CASP+ certifications are preferred.
Additional Information
No supervisory responsibilities. Work environment: Professional office setting. Physical demands: Sit, stand, and communicate regularly. Work hours: 40 hours/week, shifts to be discussed. Travel: None expected. Citizenship: U.S. required.
