Must have schooling or office experience as a Dental Assistant to be considered for this position. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays). Take patients medical history, blood pressure, and pulse. Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or dental treatment procedures. Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling). Take impressions of the patients teeth for study casts (models of teeth). Chart/enter a treatment into Dentrix Ascend. Desired Profile / Background
MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN. Excellent communication and computer skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Clean, neat professional appearance. Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is a plus. Must be available to work Saturdays. Job Type & Benefits
Full-time Benefits Hourly Monthly Bonuses Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am - 2:00 pm Pay rate $20.00-$23.00 Childrenu2019s Dental FunZone is dedicated to serving children, toddlers, and teens' unique needs.
