Senior Municipal Engineer

Major functions include: Engagement with existing and potential clients for business development Provide technical support and mentorship to engineering staff Attendance at municipal meetings Review of plans for residential and commercial developments Wastewater design and review Stormwater Plan reviews including Erosion and Sedimentation Plan reviews Stormwater conveyance and management project design services MS4 permit assistance Review and approve developers Escrow calculations Review and recommend for approval Escrow releases Engineering review of construction activities Respond to all manner of general engineering requests Act as a liaison to regulatory agencies as required Minimum: BA/BS Civil, Environmental or related field and 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Experience with management of site or infrastructure projects PE License with ability to obtain reciprocity in Delaware Preferred: Experience working with local municipalities in the Delaware region Experience with a broad range of engineering disciplines, including site design, stormwater, permitting, and land development. Familiarity or knowledge of state and local permitting and regulations Ability to travel throughout the state as needed to support client and business development needs in Pennsylvania and/or Maryland.
