Location Primary Location for Job Responsibilities:

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Marietta Campus:

1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary Responsible for the development and implementation of outreach, admissions activities, and strategies to attract and manage a recruitment territory. Initiates recruitment trips with and on behalf of the College of the Arts for high school admissions visits. Arranges and attends high school and collegiate fairs. Works with parents, students, faculty, and staff as needed. Assists with hosting information sessions and other recruitment activities for prospective students. May collaborate on the creation of marketing and communication collateral geared toward the assigned territory. Tracks and reviews documentation to complete the file for an admissions decision.

Responsibilities

Promotes the university's academic offerings by managing a recruitment territory consisting of high schools in and out of the state, attends targeted fairs, schedules onsite and offsite visits

Identifies the appropriate geographical and diversity markets and assesses comprehensive enrollment program trends

Spearheads communication with prospective applicants directing applicants to complete application files for acceptance or rejection decisions and follows up to convert accepted applicants to enrolled students

Monitors, tracks, and reports the enrollment growth (quantity and quality) of the program through enrollment and performance-based metrics and communicates to department leadership per established guidelines and schedule

Projects enrollment trends in growth and declines in program areas to specific degrees and instruments

Analyzes and reports admissions and enrollment data to department leadership

Creates innovative strategies to drive and increase enrollment numbers based on data-driven reports on activities, opportunities, and challenges relevant to the program

Serves as a liaison to various campus departments, including coordinating training and scheduling

Provides admissions and information session coverage on both campuses as needed

Advises prospective students individually and in groups regarding admission requirements

Assists prospective students with navigating the university's academic and co-curricular landscape

Strategizes with faculty and staff on communication related to the general admission requirements for the university and/or college

Develops the planning, implementation, and execution of special promotional activities and events, including auditions, Open House programs, and recruitment activities

Qualifications Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Other Required Qualifications:

Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license

Required Experience:

One (1) year of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications Preferred Educational Qualifications:

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in higher education; Previous experience in the arts

Proposed Salary & Benefits The salary range for the role starts at $45,900 annually. Offers are based on relevant experience.

Knowledge: Maintains proper knowledge of services and programs to counsel potential students seeking admissions.

Skills: Strong communication and negotiation, professional writing, public speaking; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Banner, CRM databases, data reporting; recruitment-related technology and social media usage;

Other: Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, organization, time management, project management, and presentation skills; strong customer service and email/phone etiquette.
