COORDINATOR: ASSISTANT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Will be responsible for implementation and support of mission-critical student information and reporting APS systems, currently Synergy SIS.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Implement projects related to the on-going operations of the SIS including setup, functionality, testing, training, data manipulation and preparation, and customizing using tools within the SIS. Respond to requests for data, reports, and other functions provided by SIS. Work directly with the SIS vendor to report and identify areas for correction and development. Develop complex reports, queries, data extracts, use data import tools and analyze data within the SIS. Collaborate with SIS System Administration, School Support, Technical Support and State Reporting teams in the implementation of SIS modules and functionality. Develop effective training aids and support materials using a variety of media. Deliver training and guidance on SIS modules and functionality. Hold formal and informal implementation reviews with staff to ensure project goals and timelines are met. Collaborate with programming and technical support personnel in the timely and accurate loading and checking of data from various sources outside the system Act as a consultant to various user groups seeking information from the system in helping assess the capacity and limitations of the system related to their needs. Work with various sources in the interpretation, implications and connection of SIS data and reports. Identifies, analyzes and establishes solutions to data integrity issues. Facilitate collaboration across a variety of functional teams to support the systems of student information and can lead the work of a team; creating a single comprehensive system of student information. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of Student Information Systems in a large school district, preferably Synergy; functional and technical. Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate the implementation of application software projects for enterprise software systems. Experience and ability to work with large, complex and varied sets of data to analyze for importing, processing and extracting in software applications. Experience using enterprise level application software setup and configuration functionality to implement new software features. Effective communication skills, including verbal, written and interpersonal. Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects. Ability to coordinate the work of others. REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years experience Associate degree and 10 years' experience OR OR Thirteen (13) years' related experience.
