Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Pineville, LA
Job Description:
Process design, Chemical plant design, PFD, P&ID, Plant engineering, Chemical engineering. Should have worked as a Process Engineer for industrial plants (Chemical, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Fine chemicals, Specialty chemicals, Food & Beverages) Work experience in Surfactant making plant would be preferred. Ability to prepare and understand PFD, P&IDs, mass & energy balance calculation, hydraulic calculations Understand basic chemical engineering fundamentals like heat transfer, fluid mechanics, solid handling, mass transfer, etc. Should be able to specify process plant equipment and hands-on experience in the selection of equipment as per project requirement Powder handling equipment sizing and design experience is an added advantage Should be able to specify pump, heat exchanger, tank and other equipment independently Experience in selection of safety devices and process safety management activities Previous work experience in sanitary piping & process systems would be a plus Conversant with MS office application is must Familiarity in working in AutoCAD will be an added advantage. Familiarity with AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow and any other hydraulic calculation software will be added advantage Qualification:
Engineering - Chemical (BE /B. Tech /BS/MS) Experience Range Compensation: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
