We are seeking a part-time Help Desk Technician to join our clients support team. This role is ideal for a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys working in a high-volume call center environment while assisting non-technical users with hardware, software, and account-related issues. This is a part-time consulting opportunity that is remote but candidates must sit within 1 hour of Wyomissing, PA. Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr Responsibilities Provide phone-based support to a high volume of end users. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Perform Active Directory tasks including password resets and account management. Assist with printer troubleshooting and support. Deliver clear, patient guidance to non-technical users. Accurately log and document all tickets, resolutions, and escalations.

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in a help desk or call center environment. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and basic networking. Familiarity with password resets, printer support, and troubleshooting common hardware/software issues. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tickets in a fast-paced environment. Must be located within 1 hour of Wyomissing, PA. 6+ month contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Part-time schedule: 25 hours per week (MondayFriday, 3 PM 8 PM).
