Summary
Hoshizaki America is looking for a Production Coordinator for our Assembly team in Peachtree City, GA. The Production Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring production operations to preserve high standards of quality and efficiency.
What Success looks like in this Role Maintains a well-structured assembly environment, ensuring organized tools, materials, and equipment. Proactively addresses production issues and delays to maintain workflow timelines. Anticipates and implements improvements to enhance assembly efficiency and quality. Ensures timely completion of tasks through effective follow-up and resolution of issues. Impact of this Role
Coordinate assembly operations under general supervision, ensuring efficient production processes. Schedule and oversee assembly tasks, allocating resources effectively to meet production targets. Collaborate with production workers to set up equipment and machinery for optimal operation. Conduct inspections and quality checks during assembly to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance to minimize downtime. Monitor inventory levels of materials and parts, ensuring availability for uninterrupted production. Document production activities, including output, defects, and any operational challenges, for reporting and analysis purposes. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and a minimum of four years of progressively difficult assembly/fabrication experience. Proficient in operating manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting machinery, and possessing good communication skills and basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft and/or related software Forklift Certified Familiarity with manufacturing processes Excellent communication skills Team oriented and collaborative Salary Range
This position offers a competitive estimated salary range along with a comprehensive benefits package. The hourly pay range starts at a minimum of $21.20. This range is subject to change based on applicable experience.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and a minimum of four years of progressively difficult assembly/fabrication experience.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Requires knowledge of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and operations. Ability to operate a variety of production machines and equipment. Ability to perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance of production machines and equipment. Good interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and use measuring equipment. Displays characteristics of being motivated and a self-starter. Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Ability to multitask and change priorities at a moment's notice.
