Job Opening: Traveling Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) - Implant Specialty Support
Locations:
East Cobb Family Dentistry - Marietta, GA Windy Hill Dental Associates - Marietta, GA Harvey Dental Group - Villa Rica, GA Hours:
Monday - 7:30-4:00
Tuesday - 7:30-4:00
Wednesday - 6:30-4:00
Thursday - 6:30-4:00
We're looking for an experienced and motivated
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
to join our dynamic team supporting our
traveling implant specialty doctor . This is a great opportunity for a clinically strong assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their work week.
Position Highlights:
Chairside 4-handed dentistry in general and specialty care Travel between three top-performing general dentistry offices Assist with implants, extractions, endodontics, and surgical procedures Take high-quality x-rays and perform intraoral scanning Ensure optimal patient experience with compassionate, efficient care Qualifications: 3-5+ years of experience
in general dentistry, including
implants, extractions, and endo Current
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
certification (GA) Proficient in 4-handed dentistry, digital radiography, and scanning Must have
reliable transportation
and willingness to travel between Marietta and Villa Rica locations Working interview required
for top candidates Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate:

Requirements
Education and Training
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession. Valid X-ray certificate. Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements). CPR & first aid certificate.
