Summary:

The Senior Analytics Training and Education Analyst will be responsible for the overall success of our reporting training strategy and program. Serving as the primary coordinator for our analytics training workgroup, the Senior Analytics Training and Education Analyst will develop strategies to improve self-service reporting and adoption of our key reporting tools and will provide end users with the appropriate training curriculum for basic and advanced reporting needs. Additional responsibilities include: the development of new training materials and modification of existing training materials. Configure / build training environments to provide accurate and effective material and education. Write, design, edit, and maintain documentation and training materials. Explain complex information to non-technical audiences. Ensure thorough documentation is available throughout the implementation process, as well as monitoring project plan and reporting project changes and status to administration. Perform multi-level testing with responsibility for analysis of results and resolution of any problems. Research and analyze new functionality to develop education materials. Provide technical assistance with the building and maintenance of the training environment and the associated environments. Planning and development of new specifications in the environment. Recommending technological solutions, techniques, and processes. Configuring training environments to provide accurate and effective material and education. Other duties that match the position as assigned.

Responsibilities

:

Develop Analytics Curriculum: Establish an education program that encompasses both synchronous and asynchronous education, including live instructor led sessions, webinars, documentation, and tutorials, to boost data literacy and deploy analytics knowledge to end users at all levels of proficiency. Evaluate the effectiveness of training which includes soliciting participant feedback and making program improvements to meet end user needs.

Creation of Training Materials: Develop, revise, maintain, and deliver training videos, reporting content guides, and tipsheets for PennDnA, as it relates to current state, future state, and system changes.

Planning, Messaging, and Presentation of New Functionality: Maintain content and documentation on the Analytics Storefront, Confluence, and Learning Home Dashboards within Epic. Review new curriculum/content with PennDnA before publishing to end users. Add analytics-related content to IS communications when appropriate. Participates in PennDnA projects to assist with training development, delivery, and end user support, covering new products and enhancements.

Conducting Live Training Sessions: Conduct training classes and provide instruction on various analytic topics and tools to end users, including but not limited to reporting tools within Epic.

Oversee the Analytics Training Workgroup: Coordinates and collaborates regularly with trainers across IS to standardize analytics training throughout the health system, providing consistency and best practice recommendations.

Liaison to End User Community: Serves alongside engagement leaders, analysts, and developers to act as a liaison between PennDnA and business units to communicate system changes and explain complex information to non-technical audiences. Promote our intake process if end users have data needs that goes beyond self-service reporting.

Credentials:

Epic Cogito / Cogito Tools AdministrationEpic / Cogito Curriculum (Preferred)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

Bachelor of Arts or Science Training & Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. (Required)

And 4+ years Experience in business intelligence development, analytics, and/or providing end user support and training in a healthcare setting. (Required)
