What You'll Do
As an HR Coordinator at HELP USA, you'll report to the Director of Human Resources and play a vital role in managing the employee life cycle. You'll process background checks and new hire documentation during onboarding, maintain accurate employee records and status changes throughout employment, serve as the first point of contact for staff inquiries, and coordinate smooth offboarding in collaboration with other departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing employee status changes in the HRIS (new hires, promotions, transfers, salary adjustments, separations, etc.) while ensuring data accuracy and timeliness. Coordinating the onboarding process, including background checks, credential verification, completion of onboarding documents, and HRIS entry. Serving as the first point of contact for routine HR inquiries and escalating complex or sensitive matters to HR leadership when appropriate. Maintaining employee records in both the HRIS and personnel files, ensuring compliance with organizational, state, and federal requirements. Providing administrative support to the HR team, including correspondence, recordkeeping, and audit preparation. Supporting HR projects, including data integrity cleanups, process improvements, and HRIS enhancements. Contributing to the implementation of HR best practices and continuous process improvement. You're a great fit for this role if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered). At least 2 years of administrative or HR support experience. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS experience (Dayforce preferred) is a plus. Compensation
Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state and local laws.
