Nurse/Professional Recruiter- Human Resources
Qualifications:
BS or other healthcare related degree preferred
Three to five years of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
Previous experience giving presentations and public speaking preferred
Responsibilities:
Assist with the hiring process for all positions
Plan, implement and participate in Recruitment/Career Events and Job Fairs
Maintain contact with local High Schools, Colleges, Universities and other programs
Work closely with Supervisors and Managers to ensure staffing needs are met
Review and forward applications daily - follow up as needed
Check references and complete hiring packets
Follow up with potential employees and make job offers
Advertise and promote events
Arrange and conduct hospital tours with potential employees
Assist new hires with the transition to the community
Handle any questions/correspondence from applicants; phone calls, emails, walk-ins
Maintain website and job descriptions
Excellent presentation and communication skills required
Ability to communicate verbally, on the phone, and electronically
Ability to prioritize and effectively handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
Assist the hospital and medical center in other projects as needed
