Brief Summary of Work for this Position

Be part of the UNCW game day experience! We are seeking temporary, as-needed, event staff members for assisting with UNCW home athletic events.

Responsibilities include: Shotclock Operator Video/Replay/Camera Ops Statisticians PA Announcer Music Scoreboard Operator Play by Play

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements • High school diploma or equivalency. • Must be highly dependable, flexible, and available to work evenings and weekends. • Possess excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public. • Strong problem solving skills • Ability to stand for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors. • Work effectively as a team member. • Previous experience preferred.

Previous event staffing experience

Work Hours As needed basis - usually weekend or evening hours

Please note, this is a temporary position. The length of the assignment will be based on department need with the possibility of continuation. Temporary assignments cannot exceed 11 consecutive months without a full 31-day break from employment.
