Pay Information $2,362 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: - Experience in Labor & Delivery/Maternity - Competence with fetal monitor strips - Ability to float to Maternity and med/surg as needed Description: Experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Labor & Delivery/Maternity. Labor & Delivery will be the primary role. Must be willing to float to Maternity when needed. Patient ratios will be 1:1 or 1:2. There will be no requirement to be in charge or precept. Must be willing to assist as a safety sitter for patients if not needed in Labor & Delivery or Obstetrics. Current certifications in CPR, NRP, and ACLS are required. This is a rotational schedule primarily consisting of night shifts. There may be times when day shifts are needed, but this will be discussed beforehand. The unit cares for delivered patients, post-operative gynecological patients, and stable antepartum patients.
