Overview
Scope of Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and growing clinical solutions for Vertex clients to include formulary management programs.
Job Summary:
The Director of Clinical & Formulary Operations will be responsible for developing and creating clinical and formulary management options for Vertex clients. This role will oversee a team of professionals responsible for developing and administering formulary management solutions in the market.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain formulary solutions for Vertex clients.
Provide clinical oversight and strategic direction to manage Vertex client’s clinical needs.
Oversee management of vertex clients.
Consult with clients to ensure that overall service needs are met and exceeded.
Analyze rebate data to provide recommendations and support for Vertex clients.
Develop and implement clinical offerings for Vertex clients.
Support and manage relationships with prospects from pre-proposal to closing of sale to meet short and long-term sales objectives.
Utilize CRM and prospect tracking to enhance sales.
Analyze trends and develop strategies to drive market engagement.
Advise internal team of latest products, programs, and services.
Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
Minimum: Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
At least five years of experience in the PBM, GPO or related industry

Ability to balance customer needs with business goals in developing solutions.
