HiFyve is hiring a Quality Engineer in Sylmar, CA!
Salary:
$85,000–$95,000K
Full benefits package
Responsibilities
Manage and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, FAA, and Nadcap standards
Train and mentor internal auditors on quality processes
Read, interpret, and train others on blueprints, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities for audit findings and customer nonconformances
Analyze quality data using Pareto diagrams, process mapping, and other tools to reduce nonconformances
Collaborate directly with customers, auditors, and regulatory agencies
Maintain accurate documentation and database files
Travel as needed to perform external audits
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in engineering
CQE certification
Minimum 12 months of aviation compliance experience
2+ years of RCCA and Lean Manufacturing experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring devices
Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, and Gage R&R ()
Familiarity with Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Poka-Yoke)
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Experience working with FAA and/or Nadcap a plus
