Sponsorship Committee Volunteer

The purpose of this committee is to work with three major initiatives of WERC, The First Impressions event, the Annual Fall event, and the Student Sponsorship program. The volunteers on this committee will work in an outreach capacity to assist with raising funds for one or more of these initiatives. Responsibilities: *Work with each event committee during their specific timeframe to secure sponsorship donations from local businesses, utilizing current databases of past sponsors. *Contact via phone call and emails, a specific number of past sponsors assigned to the member, traditionally 25-35, as a follow-up to promotional event material previously mailed to them. *Work within a script that is provided for maximum results. *Update the database with any new information that is secured during the call in order to keep WERC’s information current. *Coordinate with the committee and office staff regarding results of the calls.
