We are seeking a
Senior DevOps Engineer
to help design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and tooling that supports our highly available, reliable, and scalable platform. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, with a strong focus on observability, automation, and continuous improvement. Summary of Job Functions CI/CD Pipeline Engineering Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable builds and tests Reduce cycle times by improving caching, parallelization, and pipeline efficiency Ensure pipelines are self-service and easy to extend Developer Experience & Productivity Partner with developers to understand workflow pain points and improve tooling Provide fast, reliable feedback loops for code changes (e.g., test flakiness, build errors) Automate repetitive tasks to reduce friction in the development process Infrastructure Design & Optimization Evaluate and recommend the best hardware, software, and system configurations to meet performance, scalability, and reliability goals As part of the DevOps team, own the availability and reliability of production services running in Kubernetes Incident Management & Reliability Engineering Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives Apply SRE principles and proactively identify and address performance or reliability risks across the platform Understand and implement service level indicators (SLIs) and service level objectives (SLOs) to ensure system reliability Monitoring, Observability & Health Metrics Design and improve monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and modern logging tools. Partner with development teams to build solutions that are scalable, observable, and maintainable Promote DevOps and SRE best practices across engineering teams including automation and operational excellence Collaboration & Best Practices Automation & Tooling Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code Write and maintain Python scripts and tools to automate deployment, monitoring, and other operational tasks Improve deployment and rollback processes via CI/CD pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD) Disaster Recovery & IT Coordination Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to plan, implement, and test disaster recovery strategies Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to evolving our incident management processes On-Call & Incident Response Minimum Requirements At least 10 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or relevant role Hands-on expertise with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Bamboo, AzureDevops, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Proficiency with programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in the context of builds and pipelines Knowledge of artifact management (Artifactory, Proget, or similar) Familiarity with version control (Git, branching strategies, GitOps) Strong focus on developer productivity, automation, and reducing cycle times Ability to work onsite in our Jupiter, FL office Compensation and Benefits Highly competitive base salary Profit sharing bonus Health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance 401K Additional Information Voloridge Investment Management is an SEC registered investment adviser.
