ESC has an exciting opportunity for a Buyer

to join our premier client's team in

Austin, TX . This is a

full-time, hybrid position , starting as a

9-month contract . This role is instrumental in supporting the Buying Team through procurement operations, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. From managing change orders and technical submittals to working with cross-functional teams on approvals and cost management, your work will directly support the efficiency and success of the procurement function.

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is eager to grow within supply chain and procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities • Track and manage change orders in procurement tools and systems • Coordinate with Finance and internal stakeholders to manage funding approvals and reallocations • Issue and maintain purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution • Assist in maintaining and updating product cost information • Manage and organize technical submittals and related documentation • Support and train as a backup to the Control Buyer role • Contribute to special projects and operational assignments as needed

Basic Qualifications • 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis roles • Strong proficiency in Excel and Smartsheet • High school diploma required • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision • Understanding of databases and data management tools (e.g., Access, PowerPoint, Word) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications • Experience as a Data Analyst, Procurement Specialist, or Supply Chain Analyst • Understanding of procurement processes and supplier/vendor management • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a high-demand environment
