HR Assistant / Representative Pay Range:
$22/hour Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (flexibility to stay later as needed) Duration:
Temp to Hire Position Overview: We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant/Representative to support daily HR functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temporary position with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. Ideal candidates will have prior HR experience, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn new systems and processes, including the Paychex Flex HRIS platform (training provided). This role will provide hands-on support across multiple HR areas including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and general administrative support. Key Responsibilities
Assist with recruitment efforts: review resumes, schedule interviews, coordinate onboarding, and issue offer letters Learn and use Paychex Flex HRIS for employee records and HR tasks (training provided) Act as first point of contact for employee questions and concerns Post job openings and coordinate with temporary staffing agencies Print ID badges for new hires and temps (training provided) Support employee engagement efforts and internal events Coordinate employee meals and special functions, including visits from company officials Perform general administrative HR duties such as scanning, uploading, filing, and maintaining employee records Provide day-to-day support to the HR Manager and team Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Qualifications
Previous experience in Human Resources required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels Ability to multitask and handle shifting priorities Willingness to learn new systems (Paychex experience a plus, but not required) Flexible and team-oriented mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) If you're an HR professional looking for an opportunity to grow with a dynamic team-and potentially transition into a full-time role-we encourage you to apply.
