Job Title: Clinical Research Rheumatologist (Part-Time - 8 hrs/week)
Location: Chandler, AZ Schedule: Only 8 hours per week Pay: $100-$230/hour Board Certification in Rheumatology Required About the Role
We are looking for a Board-Certified Rheumatologist to join our experienced clinical research team in Chandler, AZ on a part-time basis (8 hours/week) . This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise to rheumatology-focused and multi-therapeutic clinical trials that drive innovation in autoimmune and musculoskeletal research.
Whether you're an experienced Principal Investigator or looking to transition into research, this role offers flexibility, excellent compensation, and meaningful work. Key Responsibilities Serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) for clinical trials focused on rheumatologic conditions. Conduct medical screenings, rheumatologic assessments, and physical exams. Provide clinical oversight to ensure participant safety and adherence to protocols. Collaborate with clinical research coordinators and staff to maintain accurate documentation and data entry in EHR/EDC systems. Record and report adverse events (AEs/SAEs) per regulatory and protocol standards. Work closely with CROs, sponsors, monitors, and IRBs. Participate in monitoring visits, audits, and site initiation activities. Offer input on protocol feasibility, study design, and recruitment strategies. Stay updated on the latest in rheumatology research and regulatory requirements. Qualifications M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted Arizona medical license Board Certification in Rheumatology (required) Valid DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification Previous clinical research experience preferred (training available) Proficient in EHR and clinical trial systems (EDC, CTMS) Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Commitment to ethical research practices and high-quality patient care Why Join Us?
