1. Receptionist
Role:
Be the Heartbeat of Our Senior Center! What You’ll Do: Warm Welcome : Greet our seniors and visitors with a smile, helping them feel right at home. Service with a Smile : Prepare coffee, set out delicious treats, and create a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Administrative Support : Answer phones, manage class sign-ins, and assist with collecting activity fees. Keep It Neat : Ensure the reception and coffee areas remain clean and welcoming. Why It’s Great: Community Impact : Your friendly presence will make a huge difference in our seniors' day, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Personal Growth : Develop valuable customer service and organizational skills while engaging with a wonderful community. 2. Kitchen Assistant Role:
Serve Up Care and Comfort! What You’ll Do: Meal Service : Assist in setting up, serving, and cleaning up after meals, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our seniors. Clean-Up : Maintain a tidy dining area by clearing tables and cleaning up after meals. Why It’s Great: Nourish and Connect : Your work directly impacts the quality of life for our seniors, creating a pleasant and comfortable dining experience. Experience and Satisfaction : Gain hands-on experience in food service while enjoying the satisfaction of making a difference. 3. Bread Volunteer Role:
Bring Joy with Fresh Bread and Treats! What You’ll Do: Procure and Transport : Pick up fresh bread and goodies from FIND Food Bank and deliver them to the Senior Center. Distribution : Ensure that these treats are distributed and enjoyed by our senior community. Why It’s Great: Spread Joy : Your efforts will bring delicious treats that brighten the days of our senior residents. Community Engagement : Connect with local organizations and directly contribute to the well-being of our center’s members.
