Overview

This role involves managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with client requirements, and maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The Project Manager will track progress, mitigate risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that deliverables meet business objectives and customer expectations. Strong organizational, technical, and leadership skills are essential to drive continuous improvement and ensure timely, on-budget project completion.

This Project Manager III position is expected to support at least two lottery customers as well as special projects as assigned and may have dotted line reporting responsibilities to more than one Program Manager.

24/7 On-call requirements may occasionally apply as warranted by deliveries.

Responsibilities

Develop project plans based on customer strategy

Evaluate and Define Scope for deliveries

Define activities, sequence of events, dependencies, and duration of tasks to drive projects to completion

Manage project team resources and materials

Facilitate communication between all disciplines

Facilitate problem resolution and provide key insight to finalize decisions

Implement processes and procedures as outlined by Corporate and Customer objectives

Act as intermediary between the Customer and Project Teams

Monitor Project Deliveries

Monitor for potential risks and facilitate risk management as needed.

Report status fluidly and continually for Projects in Flight

Analyze, Review, Maintain, and Forecast Project Spending

Coordinate Post Project Review with Internal / External Shareholders maintaining focus on Continuous Improvement

Perform Post Project and Employee Performance Reviews

Provide support for Multiple customers

Provide support for multiple simultaneous projects for single and/or multiple customers

Scope

Program Manager

Reports to (Indirect)-

Matrix Managers – based on project type and discipline

Reports (Indirect)-

All assigned project team members for duration of assignment

Authority for Staff Managed-

Assigning work, approving vacation time, professional development in aligning skill sets to deliveries, adherence to policies and procedures

Influenced-

Project personnel while still reporting to their functional manager are expected to adhere to project policies and procedures and are responsible to perform project duties as assigned

Level of Complexity for Managing / Organizing Staff-

High – Project resources are in varying locations and communication / coordination are paramount in maintaining project deliveries

Qualifications

Minimum Education-

Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in a Management / Business or Information Technology Discipline) or Equivalent Experience

Experience-

3 – 5 years related experience with demonstrated proficiency in leading Project Teams

Certifications

-Knowledge of CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is ideal, but not required

-Familiarity with PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge)

-Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

Essential Requirements

-Intermediate Proficiency in MS Office products such as MSWord, Excel, Teams

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $59,795-$122,400. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
