Qualifications
Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve moderate to high complexity claims in compliance with established procedures and state regulations.
Extensive experience handling represented bodily injury (BI) claims and litigation cases required.
Minimum of 2 years of auto liability claims handling or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience (preferred).
Multi-line Texas Adjuster’s License required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and internal teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business-related software.
Ability to prepare reports and correspondence independently.
This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities
Investigate Claims: Gather facts through witness statements, medical records, law enforcement reports, and consultation with experts.
Assess Damages: Evaluate medical bills, lost wages, and other related expenses to determine claim value.
Negotiate Settlements: Manage settlement discussions with injured parties, attorneys, or legal representatives.
Communicate with Clients: Provide timely updates on claim status and address inquiries.
Document and Comply: Maintain thorough claim documentation and ensure all actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
